MV footswitch wtf???

mark 5 foot switch stopped turning Channel two on.Called boogie they sent a new cord.
Received the cord still no power to channel 2 .
I can access channel 2 with the rotary dial behind the amp.
Channel 2 works fine except the burnt out LED
Sent foot switch back to Mesa" they could not get it to fail "their own words.
The rep said I could have set the amplifier up so channel 2 would not turn on with footswitch anybody heard of this in a mark 5 or mark 4.

So instead of sending it to my house in New York they sent it to ******* New Jersey. a garage in new ******* Jersey.


Help me out with this. Yes the knob in the back is set to foot switch.

New cord, footswitch works with some other MarkV...

My next guess would be where the cord attaches to the amp.
Might need a tech for that though.
