this is the 2nd song i've mixed using the IK Media ARC2 software.
(room correction software, used across the master bus during mixing)

a tale about the hazards of Moonshine consumption.
heheh

not not necessarily autobiographical

shure KSM44, A Designs Audio MP-1, DBX MC-6 compression,

First, the song: I really dig this! Solid acoustic riff and tasty electric fills. A real classic rock sound without any cliche. And the vocals - so polished sounding and they sit so well in the mix. Bravo!

Second, the room correction software...one question - What do each of the lines (white, green, red) represent on the graph? And what does it do/how does it do it? It analyses the frequency spectrum and then corrects it how, to what standard? How does it differ from an EQ?

Doh! Confusion and idiocy on my part - I thought they were one and the same program. Thanks for the links!
