Hey there, i'm new to the forum and wanted to ask some advice.
I have an older blue angel head and have recently had some issues.
I would sometimes get this farting kinda noise coming from the amp at random times. even with nothing unplugged into the input. I took it to my tech to have a look. H e heard the noise and it got progressively worse until almost all output has disappeared.
He narrowed it down to the mojo module.
From what we understand the mojo module consists of basically a preset graphic eq curve with some boost internally????
He did some research and found you can bypass the module.
There appears to be an attenuator before the module so guess you take the bypass signal just after the attenuator.
I guess i'm just wanting to get some feedback and or advice on what others have experienced with the mojo module and any issues/solutions for the problem.
It seems the 2 solutions are to either bypass the mojo or get a replacement board.
Being that i'm in nex zealand I don't think sending the amp back to the factory is possible and being that they are out of production i'm not sure they even have board stock any longer.
Any solutions to this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Especially in relation to bypassing the mojo module and steps to take.
Also any other successful mods people have used will be appreciated.
