thanks for putting the link up. That's a really nice demo of some of the tones that aren't getting much attention.

I have to say WOW! Listen to the JP video. Listen to Rectifrieds clip in the other thread, then listen to this video. Then tell me... what is there that this amp can't do??? This thing seems to be incredibly good at almost everything you could ever want. Might be an amp clearance sale after I get mine!

I do wish I could see the settings he used, but the glare is making the knobs impossible to read. Great vid though!

Truth is, I am getting a Mkv25 for clean and low gain stuff plus Santana tone, not for the brootalz. It's cool I can do that tone but it's not the only thing. This vid is perfect for what I want. Now I just need mine to arrive.

Yes you do.

Channel one is a world unto itself. Clean is jangly and very touch sensitive, Fat is juicy and full, and Crunch mode goes from almost clean to Recto Modern and hits on everything in between. Not joking.

Channel two is a hard rock/metal player's one stop shop.
I have been playing mine almost every evening since it arrived a month ago and I just have to shake my head after every session in amazement over how great this amp is. It has everything. Sound, feel, and just the right layout of switching/routing options.

IT'S HERE!!!!! Well, it's there... Just got word it just arrived at the store. The store is 3 hours away. :( Now to figure out how to get there in the next couple days.

You better be posting this from your phone in your car.

You are going to be amazed by how good this amp sounds. 20 years from now people will be trying to compare their new amps to this one like we do with the original IIC+ and pre-500 Rectos.

Congrats, bro! Now...what the hell are you still doing hanging around here? When you respond, you better already have it in your possession!

This amp is really *that* good.

It has the mojo.
I don't know if it was the tweaks to the preamp or the EL84's but the Mark V:25 is a very special amp. I have never owned anything that made me want to play my guitar so much. Mine showed up on 11/26 and I've burned through three sets of strings already. I usually change them out every couple months. I fully broke in my new cab in 2 days.

Lol! You guys are killing me!!!

Joe, I know how much you love your mini, but are you listening to these comments about the V25???
