Hey all.... i am playing a MB King Snake. I love it but it's not 2 channel, so has anyone compared it to a Lone Star 100?

If so please let me know. I like the MKI lead tone.

Thanks

Josh

I play a Mark V, a Mark V:25, and. Lonestar Classic. I've owned Mark series amps since 1981. The Lonestar amp is NOTHING like the Mark series. It is a great sounding amp, but a completely different voice than tha Mark voice.

If you really like the Mark I tone, I have two suggestions for multi channel amps:
Mark V which has the Mark I circuit in channel 2; or,
Get a used Mark IIB, which will be as close as you can get in the vintage amps to MI tone with a second clean channel.
