I have an older MK IV that had a capacitor meltdown a while back. I took the amp to a mesa authorized repair shop here in Cleveland, OH and they were able to repair it and it worked great for a few months. Now however it has developed the tendancy to hum. The hum is loudest on the lead channel, but is fairly noticable even on the clean channel. Before the meltdown the amp was dead silent on all channels. Am I looking at a preamp tube going bad, it is it probably something more serious? I'm no amp tech so ideas will be greatly appreciated.

I know this won't help you but my brand new Mark IV has hum in the clean and lead channel. Channel 2 is dead silent.

My Roadking in channel 4 all gained up is much quieter than my Mark IV.
