OK heres the deal. I have owned my MK IIb fx mod by Mike B since 89. i bought it from the original owner. Blah Blah Blah...at any rate Im not one of those "i only play a -----" kind of dude. What i mean is i dont care if its a boogie a fender or a marshall or a bogner. If i like the waqy it sounds i will play it. The right amp for the right sound. OK now that that was said.
The MK2b has its thing goin on... light breakup is really nice..but the amp is a bit compressed and a bit bright. (yes i know) Distortion needs to be more robust and midrangy, a bit more rough. Any one know any good mods to beef this amp up a little. (or a lot) I have built marshall clones, but never messed with a boogie.
Oh and how do i know if i have one of the few MK2b's that CAN b e modded to a 2c+
