man, even though I have a nice mark V i miss my old dual rectifier. It was one of the first three channel dual recs' ever made. The best part of it was I was working at sam ash music in buffalo grove IL, and I got it from a co worker. He was in a hardcore band and had just bought the head. He didnt even have it for 30 days and could have returned it. But instead he wanted to trade for my amp. And what was my amp you ask? This is the kicker. It was a B-Stock line6 ax2. Yep I payed $300 for the amp and it had a big dent in the cab. But he wanted "versatility" and I wanted power. So he traded me even up. He ended up hating the line 6 as it was not loud enough to be useful in a band. HE NEVER asked to trade back as he was a man of his word and would have felt bad. To be honest I kinda felt bad, but not really. He was of sound mind and wasnt a drug user. He knew what he was doing and I dont feel it was my fault for taking advantage of that deal. I ended up selling the head for $950 and made a good profit but honesty, I just wish I still had that amp. It was a tempermental thing and always sounded different every day of the week. But it was my first "Real" good amp. My mark V that I got today just had me reflecting is all.
