Midi channel switcher that works well with Mark V

Hi;

Can anyone recommend a midi channel switcher besides Mini Amp Gizmo that works well with the MARK V?
I'm trying to control channel switching on my Mark V with a LINE 6 POD HD500 and for whatever reason the Mini Amp Gizmo is not getting the commands from the HD500. I tested out the HD500 with Midi-Ox and it's sending the messages fine.
I've been working with RJM (gizmo manufacturer) directly and they're stumped also. And we're on our 2nd gizmo now.

Voodoo Labs GCX switching system. It will change your channels and you can use it's loops for fx.

I just ordered a payne labs k-switch. 4 switch functions and 4 loops all midi switchable for $220. Beat that!

What about the Voodoo lab Control Switcher ?
What features would the GCX or K-Switch give you that are not on the Control Switcher ?

The control switcher has no loops, it only switches amp channels etc. If this is all you need and its a fair bit cheaper than the k-switch then go for it.

What made you choose the Mini Amp Gizmo instead of the regular Amp Gizmo?

Also, I am willing to be the problem lies in the Pod and not in the Gizmo, especially since you have already gone through two of them. There are too many success stories on here of people using RJM gear.
