Mesa Tone Burst v Xotic EP Boost

Does anyone have experience of both these pedals?

I have used an EP in the past - loved what it did to enhance tone, and it looks like the Tone Burst is in the same ballpark, but with more direct access to EQ. Does it offer the same level of transparancy and sparkle as the EP?

I'll have the Tone Burst in a few days. I rock clean boosters all the time either for a boost/buffer or EQ. I use the Xotic stuff mostly, and am going to give the Tone-Burst a try. I'll let you know.
