Is the lead 2 channel suppose to be on all of the time with no foot control hooked up?

Should the lead 2 light be on when switching rythm 2 on?

I only have one on?off switch and the lead 2 channel sounds good but I want to hear the 1 channels without lead 2 on. I was under the impression no channels should be on when no foot pedal connected.

Where can I find a foot pedal for this.

Something's messed up. Nothing should be on unless it is switched on and it should be what you select. Are you using the FU2?

you can build your own switch for like $10 but it won't switch on/on w hen you click another switch. It will simply turn on another mode.

I dont know if this fixed it or not but I switched a switch on the back EXT/MIDI and it works know useing my only on off footswitch.

I think my lead to the FU2 is having some trouble since one day all the red lights were on at the same time.

Unplugging it makes the Quad work normally but to make a sound needs a switching device.
I use a lead out for channel I want to use and then it goes to input on a crybaby on a Dunlop crybaby Wah.

That works fine for home use.

I bought my Quad with no footswitch. I was using a tip to ground switch to get one channel to work. You can hook up 6 switches this way in the back, but you'll have to tap dance to turn one off and another on.

Midi switchers can be used on the same jacks, like a Rockman Octopus, or many others. I've also heard that a G Major effects unit will switch two functions.

I have since bought an FU-2 switch with no cable. I rigged up a cable myself, and it did not work (at first). It works fine now, but there is a weird sequence to switching. I had to randomly step on each switch to get it back to normal.

Will the Fu3 work with this? How much did you pay for a FU2? I wish I had done more research before buying this then I would have just paid a little more and bought one with a footswitch.
