I just changed all of the preamp tubes, sovtek 12ax7's.The power tubes look to be fine. This is a long head with full and half power switch and reverb on front, the head shows wear from years of gigging but nothing serious,it is missing the tweed name plate on front,I have a Voodoo footswitch for it that I will include.Only reason I'm getting rid of her is the band all agrees that we're after a different gain sound than the III can deliver.I will consider trade offers also on other high gain heads or nice guitars.I have done two deals on HC with bassturd and guitarted,I have a couple of feedback on ebay under the ID shreddaddy1 and I just did a deal with bonj87 on the MTS forum, just waiting for him to ship.I'll post pics tomorrow. If you want to buy my price is 850.00 plus shipping.Let me know what ya got on trades. :D

Here's the pics, and I forgot to add it comes with a mark III cover. I am flexible with the price and more than happy to take more off for local pickup, this amp operates beautifully

Are you interested in a nearly new JSX? I'm looking for more of a Mark series vibe so this could work out well. I have both EL-34's (JJ's) and 6L6's (TAD) as well as an assortment of preamp tubes (NOS Mullard/Tung Sol 12AT7's and new manufacture Tung Sol and Penta labs 12AX7) and a custom FJA mods cable to let a G-Major do all the channel switching and whatnot. Pretty versatile amp.

I dropped the Mullard 12AT7 in V1 because the amp has a ridiculous amount of gain. Now, you can still get tons of gain, but you can actually turn the gain knobs past noon without it being way too much. I threw the Tung Sol NOS 12AT7 in the PI spot, and now the amp just sounds way punchier. I have the TAD 6L6's in it currently.

Let me know. JSX's are going for anywhere from $750-$900 on ebay so I'd be willing to throw a few extra bucks in.

I can't believe this is still here,I know it's not in mint condition for a 25 yr. old amp cosmetics wise, but it still operates just like a Mark III should with Mesa tubes.Everything works, even the reverb.I'm making a faceplate for it today and I'll post pics.Seems alot of people think the faceplate gives this amp it's tone! :D Still looking for a Randall high gain but will consider others as well.

Here it is again guys,I cleaned her up and made a face plate, this amp is tight ands looks great now.
