Just recently got this amp. Its a used one, maybe couple years old. I played the lead channel and it sounded great. I went mixing things up, then went back to lead channel... and it sound kinda bassy and spongy. Didn't seem like that before. IDK, is there a tube goin bad, cuz idk how old they are. HOw can you tell, i hear if they are white its ok... but most ppl say that the sound goes down in volume or loses the bass end. IT just sounds spongy... kinda like if i have a distortion pedal with a weak battery goin dead.. its like that.
