This is the Mark IIA I rescued. These images are prior to sending it into Mesa and the process of cleaning up the cabinet, speaker and hardware.

She shows plenty of promise

Pulling this Fender Speaker and replacing with an EV 200 Watt to tame the midrange. Replacing all the power tubes.

Having Mike B remove the fetron circuit to get more efficiency out of the tube

Clean up all the internals and balance out the level between gain and lead

Stripped down the tolex and will stain the wood instead of re-tolexing

Nice packing job by the seller of this EV! Just had it re-coned

do me a favor man
whoever let that amp deteriorate to that condition, beat them. mercilessly, and endlessly, preferably with something heavy and blunt (tho i would accept dull and rusty)

if you will repost those pics thru something like this:
http://host.imageshack.us/

it will let you resize them automatically...
they're so big, they do more harm than good!!

agree with platy.
but i've seen amps this bad, come back real good, so don't give up on it without a good going thru...

Just back from Mesa today!

Note the re-vamped internals. No more Fetron, all new caps and more.
