Hi all I have a Mesa Boogie Mark 4 head. Whenever I plug an effect into the effects loop I get a hum this is consistent whether its a rack unit or a pedal .Has anyone faced the same problem ?
Thanks

Can you try different cables? I've found that there's a tremendous inconsistency in how different patch cords work with the high sensitivity of these amps - sometimes it's just a matter of finding the right cable.

Cool will try that ..... right now am using Xotic Scott Henderson cables
Thanks

Try to use GROUND switch on the back of amp. Some rack fx also have ground lift switches. If you use stompboxes, check the power supply, if the hum is not present when using battery.
