How does it work? Do I only have to switch to 220/240 and change the fuse or is there additional work required like resoldering some wires?

Well, if you need to put it in yourself I'm assuming you'll need to attach some wires and screw in some screws.

If it's already in, then yeah, just switch to 220/240, and I guess change the fuse appropriately.

Thanks for the reply.

One of these days, I'm planning to import from US an old mark with export tranny, so it will arrive set at 117v. I hope you are right that it's as simple as switching the voltage selector and swapping fuse coz I hate bringing gear to a tech. This info will come in handy when the time comes. :D
