Mesa experts.....a V1 Bottlerocket question

Does anyone know how many gain stages the V1 bottlerocket employs?

And by the way, does anyone else here find the V1 to have a nice tone but a mushy attack?

I think 4 gainstages
2 tubes so probably 4 stages
Or maybe only 2 (if it uses the tubes separated)

Thanks pmb, I agree it's probably two or four stages. My guess is two, the unit doesn't have an alarming amount of gain.

Hey, how does one get more replies in this quiet section of the Boogie Board?

Maybe if I type NAKED I will get some more attention.

My bottle rocket has a decent amount of gain but the attack does get alittle mushy at about 3/4 of the way up on the gain. I use it for medium gain crunchy stuff.
