Mesa DC-3

Hello all.

I'm about to join the brotherhood and buy a DC3

However, the cab I have is an Ampeg, 16ohm, 200 watt cab. I see the DC3 has (I think?) a 4ohm output and two 8 ohm outputs.

Will that work with my 16 ohm cab? Is there a way around it?

Plug into the 16 ohm jack. You'll lose a touch of high end and might wear your tubes a little faster, but it'll be fine.

Plug the 16 ohm cab into the 8 ohm jack on the amp, it won't hurt anything and it's what Mesa calls a "safe mismatch".
