Well I would say I am done posting here on the mesa site. I did get my purchase that imHo puts my roadking
into the storage room along with the rest of the gear I have purchased over the last 30 years. Minus a few
ignorant items I sold, like my small box 50 watt marshall. This is my purchase I made at 60% of list. It sure is different
then the road king, yet I must say in a better way. The included footswitch along with the midi abilities are astounding.
I cannot say how much I like having reverb there when I swich channels, no delay. The clean channel is beyond any clean I could get at the same level with a host of tubes and setting on the road king. In reviews what did stick out was the clean channel was clean. Add the two levels of speaker damping and way to many other to list.
I now have three channels with two modes, instead of four channels with three modes, yet I would say at best four channels with two modes with the road king. So I part ways with the mesa and start finding my way with another Laney, which I have not used in years. I am stoked. I know apples to oranges but this one seems to be close enough to call a spade a spade. For 900 bucks, and 30days to send it back, some might want to consider saving some cash to spend into cabs, mics, and on and on.
best to all
/cheers
