Picked up a Maverick 1x12 combo and gotta say, **** what an amp.
The clean channel is beyond amazing. The Fat switch adds some great midrange.
I read plenty of mixed reviews on the Lead channel over the years. My take is it's not muddy, harsh, loose or hard to dial in.
It takes a little time and is well worth it. I really like the lead channel. This is a Mesa that doesn't sound like
anything else in their line up (in a good way). Both channels can be thick and meaty or you can brighten them up.
I wish I would have bought a Maverick when they came out.
At least I have one now and it's not going anywhere and is slowly becoming my favorite amp.
