For you folks that run the Mark V head into a single JCM 4X12 cab, which input are you plugging into in the back of the 900, and where's the switch set to? I've been using my mesa 2x12 recto cab, but now that I'm playing in a second band, I have an option to use the JCM cab at the other place. This way, I don't have to haul my 2x12 back and forth.

Well you could safely go into the 4ohm socket, or the 16ohm.
I have an 800 series cab. That doesn't have those options. One input at 16ohms till I rewired it to 4ohm. I ran my combo into it before I rewired it. No problems. Sonic differences due to impedance mismatches are minuscule at best.

If the cab can do either 4 or 16 ohm, you can either set it to 4 and use one of the 4 ohm taps on the head, or set it to 16 and use the 8 ohm tap on the head.
