Honestly not much in it at all from what i am hearing, besides the cab clone which is noticeable. I don't know if its because the clip samples are so long and of the same thing but my ears really don't hear much difference. Thats a good thing though right ? i mean it is meant to be the same amp just smaller and less feature loaded.
I think if you are comparing wanting to buy this comparing the two for sound is not what you should be doing, it's more about features and it's application. Its good that mesa have done what some companies struggle with or in some cases don't even bother doing when offering a scaled down version of their flagship amp and thats keeping it's core sound.
Great amp though mesa knocked it out of the park in my opinion.
