mark v serial no.

Hi,can any one tell me that if I buy a brand new mark v,is it possible to know that the ampli is one of the latest production or it has been laying down at the shope for long months from the serial no.,and if so,what is the serial no.of the latest production of mark v,by the way I will buy it in europe.thanks

If you are looking at it from the back, it's on the left side.. but you have to get under to see it as it's on the bottom of the chassis.

People can hardly keep these in stock, so I'm sure if you get a brand new one out of the box that it won't have been "sitting in the shop" for that long. I just got mine in last week and my serial number is over 4k.

so s/n 4k and above,means new production line.

Just bought mine last july.... it is over 6k now ...!!!!
