Mark V Head Fan on or off

I just got my new Mark V head, but I was surprised to see a toggle for a fan. Should I keep this on or leave it off? Or is it based on the environment? Or should you only shut it off for low volume recording? My mesa combo did not have one.

I leave mine on... the amp itself is so quiet I don't even notice it's running.

Basically leave it on unless recording in a studio

I leave my fan on, keeps air circulating somewhat.
