Having a weird issue with my new Mark V combo and was wondering if anyone else has experienced this: With master volume all the way down, I'm still hearing a little sound. I had some initial problems with a circuit on my reverb and it was repaired. I don't recall when this started up, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't "born" that way. This occurs on all channels. Pulled loose my effects loops and shut that down to test. Still there. Could I have a faulty tube? any suggestions greatly appreciated.

My Roadster does this while on modern mode. To me that means that the preamp is putting out enough wattage to move the speakers. Unless it is particularly loud, I don't think there is a problem.

My MV combo does that as well.

Never bothered me until NOW! Thanks a lot!!!

I'm kidding...it doesn't bother me at all because
I never play the amp with the volume all the way
off anyway...hehe. And as long as it doesn't bleed
when I turn the volume off on the guitar or when
I hit mute, I'm good :D

A single 12AX7 contains two separate circuits (triodes).

From what I understand its signal bleeding from one triode to another withing the same tube. It's natural and under normal playing circumstances it's not an issue.

Thanks! Well, just making sure it's not abnormal. While I would prefer the volume going ALL the way off with my foot volume, it's "low enough."

I've had my V for four years, and I can honestly say that I've never had the volume down low enough to notice this anomaly...

Mine has that too. It's a cool way to check the effect of each channel volume on the sound. Put the output to "0" and then play with gain and volume on each channel.
