I was wondering if anyone has tried a Mark V (or any Mark-series amplifier) through a Fryette/VHT cabinet? If so, how did it sound?
My wife and I moved from KS to IN this summer, and I left my Deliverance 4x12 at a family member's house. I'm currently running a horizontal Recto 2x12 with my V, but I seriously miss the sound and resonance of a 4x12. I'm trying to decide if I should pony up for a Stiletto or Rectifier 4x12 or just drag my Deliverance 4x12 back.
I love the Deliverance cab, but the V30s sound SO good with this amp. After talking with Steve Fryette on a couple of occasions, it sounds as though V30s pretty much crap the bed when installed in a front mounted cabinet.
Thanks guys.
