Just wanted to hear from some people who have this kind of setup. Is it awesome sounding?

well, i have an open back shiva sized (smaller). i just got the mark v today and will test after work.
what sort of things are you looking for in terms of tone/response, etc?
also, you should probably know i replaced one of the speakers with a g12-65 style speaker, which i believe would actually yield better cleans and smooth high gain than a v30. i'll let you know

I can tell you that the Mark V sounds great through a pair of 1x12 Bogner Cubes. It sounds big as well as real smooth and creamy.

awesome so far! i will play/test some more (like i really need to try to make time for that... )
anyway, mark v ftw, for sure. best cleans yet, not even counting the switchability of the modes, eq, reverb, etc. oh and reverb is awesome! no tone suckage that i perceive.
i think ch 2 will pretty much stay on crunch! :lol:
idk what to say about ch 3 yet. it's a little darker, but i will first need to get acquainted with the tone controls. i think someone mentioned they thought the geq was a little less sensitive and thus far i would agree, esp on ch 3. not a bad thing, just different. more info to follow this week! yay!

do you do much swapping in those cabs? i imagine it's easier to change a 1x12 than a 4x12
i guess maybe i'm a speaker whore and go sample a bunch of stuff on whim or recommendation. my current setup is very satisfying though. :twisted:
