Didn't I see that there was someone on here making Mark Series head shells. Mesa is taking several months to turn them out. Please post contact info.

Thx,
Steve

Send a PM to GTS. He builds really nice head cabs. Many board members have them.

FYI - I just got a Mark IV headshell from Mesa last week. I was told 4-6 weeks when I ordered. It actually took 8 weeks from order to arrival! Mesa is expensive & VERY slow.

OK, thanks dude. Yeah, I ordered a new head shell for my Mark III through Mesa. Been a couple months already. Guess they have to retool everything. At least you did get it without too much delay.

I got you beat -- ordered a hardwood headshell for my IIC+ September 1st. Contacted them recently and they are now saying mid-December delivery. Bah!

+1 on the long wait time for Mesa to make head shells.

My C+ is finally on its way back to me from Mesa after servicing and a new head shell. I placed my order in early September. Mike B was done with the service in four weeks, but it took six more weeks for the head shell. I even ordered the head shell in advance, a few weeks before I shipped the chassis to Mesa in an effort to reduce the lead time... obviously, that didn't work... ten weeks total.

Can't wait to get it next week.

I have Georgous Bubinga short shell that will be ready early next week. I have just put the first coat on it, 5 more to go. Wicker grill, front access to the preamp tubes, reverb cut out, all to Mesa Specs. Brown handle, continuous wrap so all of the grain flows around the shell. It will be going into the classifieds. I am only building a few heads to raise some xmas $$$, I am not doing this as a full time gig. Paduk, Babinga, Brazillian Cherry, Purple Heart to name a few woods available. Shoot me a PM if interested, I can snap a few premature pics but would rather wait until it's done. first come first serve. Thanks.
