I've been having a few strange volume issues with my Mark IV. Now it's to a point where if I turn the master up past 3 the volume doesn't get any louder - it just makes it sound worse. Also with the volume at 3 it is was quieter now than before. Same holds true with all 3 channels and all Full power or Tweed power.
Does this point towards a certain tube? I have 2 month old Mesa power tubes in there. Does this point to a certain preamp tube? Or a bigger problem like my output transformer? I double checked and I am using two 8 ohm cabs being feed from the two 4 ohm outs.
