I recently picked up a mesa mark iv with no case. The amp came from a combo, its the 17inch wide version A.
I build a head shell for it,but there is no way i can fit the GIANT reverb tank i got with the mark iv in the head with the fan.

My question is,i have a smaller reverb tank from a fender roc pro that has the rca in and outs on it. Is this kind of thing safe to substitute? The ohm difference is huge so this might be a dumb question. The mesa tank i can find for sale are 8-10 ohm input and the fender is 800 ohms input.

Or is there a smaller replacement tank i can buy?

A 10 ohms input is typically adapted to a tube driver circuit with a reverb transformer, as found in the mark IV and all the mark series, and in vintage fenders.
A 800 ohms input is typically adapted to a solidstate driver (AOP or transistor) circuit, without reverb transformer, just like the fender Rocpro.
So I am afraid the reverb tank of your Rocpro is not a safe substitute.
