I'm getting some great riffing tones out of my new mark IV, but I cannot seem to get a lead/solo/shred tone that I am happy with. Can anyone recommend me some settings as a starting point? thanks

Alright i get a amazing lead tone but for me i could get a better rythm but i leave it better for leads...
I would run in triode and pull the presence ( trying to emulate a IIC+) and run the presence pretty low
Run the (2200 AND 6600) pretty close to the middle line and the rest in a V shape. also have the eq on thats my opnion.
you dont need tons of low end so 1.5-0 is where you should be the rest is all up to you, your guitar and your ear
hope that helps
