Hi folks,

Question, if I recall correctly, the celestions are back loaded and the EV front loaded, correct? Can I install a celestion front loaded? Or just best to drill new holes for back loading the celestion?

Thanks

Yes, the Celestion is front-loaded as well.
Hint: If you see screws attaching the grill to the cab, it's usually a front loader.
The real question is whether a speaker will clear the chassis and tubes if you rear-load. Every millimeter counts with a small cab.
It's also much easier to swap speakers when they're front-loaded.

Going in the opposite direction, when I pulled the Celestion from my Mark IV widebody combo and dropped in an EV, I had to front-load it because it wouldn't fit the other way. I believe the depth of the two combos is the same, so I'm guessing you'll have to front-load.
