If I use my Mark IV Recording Out to send a signal to the PA, do I need a Speaker Cable or will an instrument cable suffice? I know going from the speaker outs to the speakers require a Speaker Cable, what about the Recording Out??

If I am reading the schematic right, the Slave Out comes off the 8Ohm tap and is post power amp so I would probably need a Speaker Cable?

But the Recording Out looks like it is before the phase inverter and therefore I can use an instrument cable??

Thanks,
Jack

Use instrument cable on both the Recording Out and the Slave Out.

You do not want to use a speaker chord on the record out ever.

The only place you use a speaker chord is speaker out.

This is always..... no exceptions !!!!!!!

Ask Mesa if you do not believe me.
