Had a band practice yesterday and while the amp was warming up on standby I was chattin with the other guitarist and when I went to flick the amp on, I didn't get any sound and realized the speaker cable wasn't pushed all the way into the head.

It sounded fine for the practice, but I'm just concerned I may have done some damage? Does it make it less harmful if it was on standby for most of the time and only powered on for like 30 seconds or so before realizing what the problem was?

AAAAAHHHHHHHHH! Dodged a bullet on that one, mate! Anyhow. If it ain't broken - it ain't broken :)

Just don't do it again! (I seem to give that advice a lot around here...)

Yes! As far as I know - if it's on standby, you're totally cool. :)
