Wow. I feel stupid. After all that trouble is was my guitar. I compared it to other guitars and they didn't have the same warmth due to the lack of EMG's but the clarity and tone were there. I don't know what was up with that guitar but I traded it in today for a brand new ESP Eclipse II. This is the smoothest guitar I've ever played and it sounds F#%&%#* AMAZING with my Mark IV and Road King. I just wanted to thank everybody for all your help and support in this forum and I appreciate everyone' encouragement. Keep playing and long live Mesa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
