Mark IV Hum Reverb jack

My new Mark IV is great but when i engage the reverb with a foot pedal, it hums. As soon as i remove the jack it stops even with the reverb on. Ideas?

Leave the jack out! Just kidding. Try a different cable and clean the connections with electronics contact cleaner. I'm not a doctor or and electronics engineer but thats where I'd start. Hope it works for ya.
