It is an extremely salty mystery meat product .
It seems to be held together with some form of gelatinous material .
It can be kept for a long time without refrigeration .
Many find it unpalatable , myself included .
But It's not as bad as , say, "SCRAPPLE " .
It may be made of similar uh... stuff .

In my experience , its Taylor ham north of Trenton , pork roll south .
In the past , when I was out west no one knew what it was . I had family mail it out .
It tastes so good you don't care what's in it . :lol:
