I just got my 2002 private stock quilted maple Mark IV combo. I turned it on and found out that the output level knob had a crack on it. Then I turned the knob to about 2 and I had full power and it made a cracking noise when I did this. I then turned it up to 8 and the volume never change. I pulled the knob for silent recording and no change. I beleive this pot is bad and the control knob also. Do I need the call boogie and ask them for the replacement parts? There isn't a dealer near me. :D This amp is dead mint and I want it to stay that way. I'm afraid to play it until I fix it which I beleive it's the output level pot.
Thanks!
Jim

Yeah, you should be able to get the replacement parts form Boogie. Just take the time to replace one lead at a time when you replace the pot.
