Well I've been messing with this setup for a few days but I finally got it tuned to my liking today with some free time I had and holy crap does it rule.

I have channel one of the Ace's presence set a bit higher.. channel two set a bit lower so I can stomp on the channel selector on the stiletto and get a treble boost for nasty chording or stomp off for a smooth solo tone. I've currently got the slave out of my Mark going into the FX return of my Ace with the volumes matched pretty evenly.

Setup is as follows: Mark IV -> Stiletto Ace 2x12 -> 2x12 recto cab (connected to mark). 4 12inch V30's pumping, 6 power tubes (46L6's 2EL34s) roasting and one amazing tone.

mmmmmm 8)

There's nothing this rig can't handle now.. the cleans sound awesome on it, very 3D.. the crunch on R2 is dramatically improved with EL34's in the mix and the Lead channel is so much more of a monster now it's ridiculous.

Anyways thought I'd share :D

I love the 3D effect of a stereo setup. A very "big" sound without so much volume, if you wish. :D

please post some clips! maybe you can even add a detailed rundown of how you slaved the amps together, as it is a question that arises from time to time and you obviously figured out how to do it properly.

I'm waiting on some proper recording equipment since people complain about my cam videos :p

well here are two crappy cam videos of the tones.. they sound crappy as usual but here's a pretty good idea of what it's like

It's wild how the addition of the Ace makes it feel VERY vintage even when I've dialed my mark for thrash.

Thanks Plat. I think the sound quality is just fine. In fact I like it better than those that were recorded using the close micing method improperly. Just that your guitar sounds out of tune. I vaguely remember you have a strobostomp. Don't trade your ears for it. Thanks again.

Yeah good call, I just changed strings earlier today prior to the videos so I'm still stretching them out :)

Here's a newish lead clip with a touch of delay/echo.. I turned the Ace off for this one but I didn't feel like this clip warranted a new thread. It's a little bit from Lines in the Sand by DT.. playing from ear so it's probably not right but oh well:
