Mark III Footswitch Wiring...can this be done?

Please forgive my lack of knowledge, I'm a player trying to learn more of the technical side of amps, etc. Can a footswitch be wired to go from the CLEAN (R1) channel, then engage the Rhythm(R2)/LEAD together? I like the sound of R2 & LEAD together more than I like just the LEAD channel. Currently I have to press both buttons at the same time (and have missed a few times). I can solder...can someone draw me up a diagram, or at least point me in the right directions? Thank you very much!

does the mark 3 use standard footswitches or a foot controller

hey did my research this should work

all but the switches can be bought at www.pedalpartsplus.com they are cheap for the jacks and enclosure

switches can be bought at radioshack

switches are spst switches like 2 bux at radioshack
audio jacks standard mono audio jacks
led whatever color you want you can do a green for the rythm 1/ rythm 2 switch and then a red for the rythm 2 / lead switch

anyoneelse wants to chime in feel free but i believe to the best of my knowledge this will work hope it does and helps you out

Thanks MetalMike!! I used a variation of your 2nd version and it worked. I now have the two settings I use most, clean and R2+Lead. I didn't use the LED because I can clearly tell between the two, but I think I will add the LED later on, just for looks. Thank you very much for you help!!
