Hello everyone
I recently purchased a blue stripe combo 60 watt, and i am having trouble with the signal through the effects loop.
I am running a boss CE-5 chorus ensemble and a Rocktron short timer delay. With the effects off or on, the gain is diminished quite a bit.
Are these pedals that bad that they would have such a poor signal path on bypass, or is there something else. I use these effects on my lead tone for a wetter sound. I love the sound of the lead tone without the effects loop plugged in, but with it being used, it sucks.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Might need to take out the chasis and bend the input/output jacks gently to the direction of the 1/4 jack. I bent my input of my loop on my Lonestar with a 1/4 inch with a bent tip. Took me a while to figure out what the heck I did.

Neither effect has true bypass and one is fully digital so even when they are off they can lower/load up your signal.
Anything you put into the loop is in the serial signal path and can effect the tone and output of the amp.
If there was anything wrong with the loop, you would get a dead signal path,
but cleaning the jacks may help and is good preventative maintenance anyway.

Try the effects one at a time to isolate the worst offender of the two. Delay's tend to work better in the loop
and Chorus, I feel works better through the input of the amp.

Thanks guys, i will try these and let you know!
By the way, who makes affordable pedals that are essentially better than both of these?
thanks
