Mark III clips (Metal, Rock)

hey guys! so I finally got some clips of my mark III blue stripe up. let me know what you guys think. I experimented with a different micing technique and some cool settings. Oh, all the clips are recorded either in Drop C, or a full step down on the guitar.

Sounds good man, I really Like the Rose of Sharyn tone. I love that song, and playing Killswitch stuff is always fun. Their pinch harmonics are off the charts. Good stuff man

I love the tone on rose of sharyn. I also have a mark III, and would love to know how you got that tone out of it. I have had a little bit of trouble getting it to sound that heavy. Recording details and amp settings would be great. Great work!

the tone in general is pretty good, but the micing could be better, the clips sound somewhat distant and there's too much "room". Fix that, multiple layer it and you will have a killer sound :wink:

Also, how loud was the amp set?

Ahh.. the MKIII....

That's the sound that made me a boogie man. I couldn't afford one when I first heard one in 86 or so but I never forgot it.
