Mark III bass shift mods?

Is there an easy way to adjust how much bass the bass (pull) shift adds? I wish it added a little less bottom end when pulled. Is modding it simple or difficult?

The "bass shift" switch adds a 15µF cap in parallel of the cathode resistor of V1A. You may want to replace this cap with a smaller value, from 2µ2 (more midrange emphasis instead of bass) to 10µ.
