Mark IIC+ combo specs and value.

For all those that have IIC+ combo's.

I found a guy selling a Hardwood combo Mark IIC+ (so he says) 60/100w that has no EQ.

He claims it has an EV 15in speaker and it has reverb.

I don't know much about these amps so was hoping you could tell me if this is even worth looking at.

Yes that is great sounding amp. Beautiful clean tone and does a great Santana over drive no sweat. Doesn't have all the bells and whistles so it should cost less then a loaded MKIIC+ but it is still a great amp. With a EQ pedal and careful tube selecting I bet you can get it very close to the drive of Simul-class, it lacks the EL34s but not everybody likes them, nothing suits everybody. I have one head like that and I run Telefunken preamp tubes and black plate power tubes and the thing is as smooth as a Dumble sounds like a million bucks. The hardwood is worth extra but the 15 is debatable.
