When I removed the chassis of my IIC+ from the comboshell today, I noticed these small wires running from the SUS-4 system to the aluminium foil on the inside.
What's the use of these things? I was wondering because I will transfer my Mark IIC+ chassis to the combo shell of a Mark IV and the Mark IV shell doesn't have these things.

Here's some pics of it.

Those wires just connect the foil shielding (not a "ground") to the chassis through the chassis mounting screws.
More recently, Boogie used copper "fingers", which are strips attached to the foil and reach down to touch the sides of the chassis as it is slid into the cab. Maybe your combo cab has these?
Maybe Boogie sells them?
