If you look close enough you can see the + mark, also, it has a C+ front plate. Price is about right for a SRG hardwood/wicker. http://syracuse.craigslist.org/msg/5119369243.html

I couldn't resist emailing the post.
Hi John,

I'll be taking more pictures of it Sunday, so we'll know for sure by the serial number which it is then. I actually was basing the price on one
I saw on the Internet for $3300 that looked like it. But, I was wrong.

My husband bought it around 1986 from a guy who played big band music. He said it was too much for that sound, so he never used it out. Since my husband never liked playing out, it was just used at home. That's why it's in such great condition.

There's a few people interested, so we'll make sure it's valued right when we know the serial number. I appreciate the info. That will help us set a fair price and just get it sold. My husband is keeping his guitar, but he'll never have use for the amp, so we figure someone will enjoy it.

Hey John, you were right! Thanks for the heads up!!! I found the serial number, 13068 and found the plus and MB on it too. I'm re-writing the ad on Craigslist now. I think we'll still start at $2500, but look at offers from there.

I also took a picture from under the tubes which showed 7/84 in the same black marker. My husband just told me the original owner kept it in the closet because he never used it. He must have bought it in '84, then my husband bought it from him in '86 and kept it covered up in our spare bedroom. He also said that after playing on tons of amps, this one sounded like it was fit for God's ears! Ha! Well, it's going to be a good find for someone and everyone will get a fair deal.

Again, thanks.

Isn't that a complete steal? Why anyone would buy any boutique amp today for more than that is beyond me.

I just liquidated a ton of stuff, but my nearly identical IIC+ SRG Combo is my keeper til death do us part. $2500 has me gassing for something I already have, badly.

Really nice seller - I reached out, and it's 7/84 build date. I've said it before but everyone raves about Simul and Export, but I had a 3/85 DRGX right next to this for years, and the SRG was always my favorite.
