Mark 4 back panel question

Hi.
I just got a Mark 4 long head and noticed that there are two metal brackets in the back of the amp .No back panel came with the amp but the brackets look like mounts for a back panel / plate to connect to. Is that the case ? Thanks

Those brackets mount the standard footswitch assembly for transport.
If it's a new amp the footswitch should have come with it.

It's a used mark 4. So in my case, no foot switch was included . But thanks for the info, I totally forgot about the mountable footswitch.
