Mak 2A chassis code

Hi everybody and Happy New Year !

I have a Mark 2A combo with the chassis Code : XPSSRG and an encircled "M"
XP : export transformer
SS : standard sixty watts
R : reverb
G : EQ
The encircled "M" is located on the side above the chassis code.

Is somebody know the M signification ?

It's probably just a tech's initial, maybe Mike Bendinelli. Randall C. Smith did most of the
final tech/burn in's on those amps. The final tech should be initialed under the power cord
as RCS or MB.
