LSS 1 x 12 and 2 x 12

Just bought a LSS 1 x 12 and it is fantastic. I hooked it up to my 2 x 12 extension cabinet ( so I' running 3 12's) and it sounded even better. Will running it like this ( 3 12's) hurt the transformer or chew up the power tubes more quickly?

As long as you follow the manual on how to hook up the cab's your OK. If I remember correctly the 2 cabs are individually rated at 8ohms, so you should plug each into one of the 4ohm jacks in the back and you will be OK. The transformer is made to handle that type of load.

Are you sure? I thought the 1x12 was 8 ohms and the 2x12 was 4 ohms.

The 212 has 2 16 ohm speakers for an 8 ohm load,

I assumed the extension 2x12 was set up just like my LSC 2x12 with 2 16ohm speakers wired for an 8 ohm load, like Steve said.

My DC Aura sounds amazing through the LSS and I was just curious...
