low wattage tube amp kits

Hey Guys,

I've been reading about these low wattage tube amp kits, 1 watt or less. I'm kinda intrigued by having a low volume amp that can scream. My F-30 is awesome but still a little on the loud side (for the rest of the family that is ).

I've been thinking it would be cool to build my own and was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction. Has anyone here built a tube amp like this from a kit? Do you have a kit that you could recommend?

I've been searching and found a few places that sell them, I would just like some "tried and true" feedback.

Yes,

I was checking this out too! Very cool but I just can't justify spending that kind of money on this type of amp. Not very practical but big on the smile meter!

That's why I'd like to build my own.

check out the ax84 web site and forum. Doberman amps had a kit with an option for 1 watt use. You might pick up pointers to another kit that is more what you want.
